Ever wonder how much the CEO of these large banking institutions make? Here are a few of their salaries from 2009 (and yes, these are in MILLIONS for one year of employment and don’t include bonuses!!) And just for fun I figured out their hourly pay as well based on 40 hours per week/52 weeks per year:

Bank of America — Ken Lewis — $4,200,000 — $2020 per hour
Bank of New York Mellon — Robert Kelley – $14,046,000 — $6753 per hour
Fifth Third — Kevin Kabat — $5,200,000 — $2500 per hour
First Horizon — D.B. Jordan — $5,098,000 — $2451 per hour
JP Morgan Chase –James Dimon — $9,274,000 — $4459 per hour
PNC — James Rohr — $18,027,000 — $8667 per hour
Suntrust — James Wells III — $7,672,000 — $3689 per hour
US Bank — Richard Davis — $8,211,000 — $3948 per hour
Wells Fargo — John Stumpf — $21,340,000 — $10,260 per hour

Again, these numbers don’t include bonuses. For instance, in 2007 Ken Lewis from Bank of America made 1.5 Million in salary but a total of 24.8 million. Yes, 24.8 million which works about to be about 22 million a YEAR in bonuses! That’s $11,923.08 per hour!!

Forget being a lawyer or a doctor — I’m sending my kids to school for banking!!
