Arizona Foreclosure rates up in May — No surprise here!

Yes, foreclosure rates continue to rise in Arizona…how about a number just under 17,000 in May 2009 alone…!!

Of those 17,000 some odd foreclosures over 12,500 of them were in Maricopa County.   This is a more than 30% increase than a year ago in May of 2008.

Nationwide there were over 320,000 foreclosures in May with the largest percentages coming from Florida, Nevada, California, and Arizona.
